During my school years, lived in Simi Valley and attended a Los Angeles Unified School District school over the hill in the San Fernando Valley

Lived 20 summers in Yellowstone National Park. Most of that time was in the backcountry without the luxury of gas, electricity or running water

Very active member of a Ventura County 4-H club and was a county All Star

Competitive figure skater

Undergraduate work at the University of California, Santa Barbara with B.A. in Environmental Studies and Music

Taught Science, Music and Computer Programming in two Los Angeles Unified School District middle schools

Taught all levels of figure skating for over 15 years

Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University

Taught music in three elementary schools in the Dallas Independent School District

Currently at Greenhill School, in Dallas as the Director of Educational Technology and Science Teacher

Own a consulting company by the name of DLP Consulting

Reside in Plano Texas with my two wonderful children
