From the Google Labs:
Google has been adding to some of their tools and Google Earth now has Virtual Fly-by tours of "city canyons" Then have also added Google Mars.
Google Earth: You will need to install the application. There is a free version and a pay version. I have not upgraded yet (hey, I'm cheap) but I suspect that the really cool features are in the pay version. However, the free version is very cool and worth a look. You can access the application at: http://earth.google.com/
Google Mars: Not that I plan to visit anytime soon but talk about cool colors. Take a trip to Mars like you have never seen before. There is nothing to install. Just follow the links and take a flight over the surface of Mars. You can even zoom in to see mountains and valleys. You can access Mars here: http://www.google.com/mars/
Google Notebook:Check out the latest in note taking- Social Note taking. You will need to set up a free Google account but I think you will be amazed with what you can do with this tool. This is just one of many are are now showing up on the web. You can access Google Notebook at: Google Notebook.
Food on the Net!
Tis' the season for food. Here are a few of my favorite recipe sites. What are yours?
Cooks.com: This is a great site with many great recipes. Here is a family favorite- Coca Cola Cake. Watch out as it is very rich and hard to resist.
CopyKat.com: This site has some excellent copy cat recipes from some of your favorite restaurants. Check out the Tomato Basil Soup from La Madelines. Just realize that this is not a low calorie recipe.
